On July 11, I spoke at Richmond .NET User Group on the topic of PRISM and Windows 8. During the talk I showed off an application that used many of PRISM's features and also used a PCL to share a very simple "model" layer between two different Windows 8 applications.
The first application is called Restaurant.Orders. It simulates an order screen that would be used in a restaurant's kitchen. The second application is called Restaurant.Waiter. This one simulates a tablet that the waiter would use to select a table and place an order. It uses Azure Mobile Services and you would need to provide an app URL and app key in order to use your own Mobile Service with it.
